The General U.S. forum has far too many worthless threads, some created by myself while the remaining were created by others. Additionally, there are enough good threads in this section that don't recieve the right amount of attention. So, fellow forummers we should demand that fewer threads be created. I too will be creating fewer thread, especially of the "best city" kind. With this said, should the moderators take action and prevent so many useless threads from being created in this section?

No. I think the moderators need to back off. You cant post anything in the Las Vegas forum without it getting pushed into the chat thread, which is a mess to thumb through. Now, the vegas forum has become boring because no one can post anything interesting.

I think there are way, way too many "best and worst" city threads. They get redundant. Not just this general forum, but the city forums do, too.

I got an idea-- if it bothers you, quit starting so many threads. You're the one who starts as least 1 or 2 new threads every day. I don't see anybody else complaining.

One way to deal with this would be to create a "Pointless and Useless Polls" subforum under the General US forum. That would clear out a lot of the deadwood.

If you see a useless thread, then ignore it. You would only be bumping it up and extending its life by posting on it.
