Both are hotter than hell during the summer months. So which of those would you rather basque in the heat in if those were your only 2 options ?

I think I would pick Australia. I've never been outside the U.S. so that would be my biggest reason for wanting to go.

I hate deserts, but I'd go to the Australian Outback for the experience.
If the other option was Arizona as a whole, that would be slightly more interesting, I guess. Not Phoenix by itself, though. What do they have there besides strip malls and gas stations?

As much as i would like to go to Arizona i would also like to get a chance to go out of the country and experience another culture so i would chose the Australian
Outback.
