What is the most progressive city in the South?
Most to offer culturally? Most open to new ideas?

I think New Orleans offers the most culturally. That along with Atlanta would be two Southern cities I think are the most progressive.

New Orleans? Progressive? That's hilarious! If New Orleans is the most progressive city in the South, the South is in deep doo-doo.

Houston! Houston gets little to no type of publicity like the other souther cities, yet its pulled an international game show, The Latin Grammy Awards, two Finals Fours, and Wrestlemania. Also with the planned Astrodome Studios and the new condos on the move. Houston will be the next premier city.

How is a city like Atlanta that is 250 miles from the sea hurricane prone?
