I know my statement was a bad generalization but i've been to Dallas a lot! I have friends that live in Plano and in South Oakcliff. I have only been to Houston a few times and the women there were nice but they didn't seem too fly.

To be honest, not being offended by what you said earlier, but many people would say that the women in HOU and DAL are more fashionable than women in DC. They still rock the braids Janet Jackson wore in "poetic Justice" in DC.

From my experience noone in either Dallas, Houston, Baltimore or DC should talk negatively about the quality of each others black women. All of them have a vast amount of well dressed, intelligent and may I add FINE sisters.

Not to slight other cities; but I'm most familiar with the above places and adamantly attest to my findings.

no they don't. I do not see that at all in DC. In fact, I have never seen it in DC.

South Oak Cliff? LOL. I can see why you said this. They are a bit slow in the Southern portions of Dallas and it's probably because many are from the smaller towns that just moved to the big city. North Dallas is a different story.

Houston, on the other hand, is way different and a bit more up to speed with in fashion with Black Americans. Just check out indmix.

I see it, my roommate is from DC and he says it's weird that in Texas we wear more than two shirts and they've never seen people where the scarfs around their neck with skinny jeans and stuff. They also say the women here are much better looking than in D.C.

Is the question the most fashionable or the most beautiful?? Fashion only- NYC wins hands down. I can't believe there were so many posts that didn't name the fashion capital of the US. Whether people want to admit it or not, NYC starts most of the trends and the rest of the country follows. Some states much, much longer than others. The sheer volume of items available and constantly changing means the women there have thousands of choices. There are stores here that aren't anywhere else, and for the stores that are- we have the flagships.

I can't vouch for L.A and such, the style out there seems pretty casual (not that there is anything wrong with that). It suits the enviornment and weather.

I have heard that Dallas women are fashion conscious, followed by Houston. (Whoever used Beyonce as an example of fashionable should look at her everyday style more than her videos LOL). Beautiful woman, but she has just as many misses as hits.

Atlanta, where I have spent many weeks at a time is definitely a city in the running. I have seen a plethora of attractive, put together, styled from head to toe, classy women of color running around there. You'll definitely have to be on your game to compete there. Then again, it matters where you go. All cities have their hood chicks, that is never going anywhere.

Miami women are gorgeous, but on a whole their fashion is more sexy (again not a thing wrong with that) than Vogue style. Even many stores focus on body conscious clothing than anything else.

I know of a few stylish DC women, but I haven't spent any extended time there so I can't comment. The stores there are top notch even though there are not tons to choose from so that speaks volumes.
Can't be too fashionable if all the stores around are Old Navy and Talbots type. Unless of course you use the internet or travel to the bigger cities.

Well the woman are very nice in DC. DC is known for this. I've seen many and they are just as many good looking beautiful black women in DC as they are in Texas. But the skinny jeans and stuff is DC though but they like to wear North Face (which works btw) and nike boots. DC has a style of it's own. I respect that. But as far as braids, you won't see that on women in DC.

I noticed the braids on women everytime I go to D.C. I go their when I'm visiting family in Charlottesville,VA and we usually drive to D.C. to see my dad's friend.
