Out of the ones listed,Las Vegas. I like the dry desert but in the summer I'd probably head north of there.

Las Vegas. It's the only western city that I have been to.

I voted for Salt Lake City because I absolutely love it there! The scenery around it is great, it has a lot to do, and it is very clean.

Denver...

though I prefer the surrounding bay AREA for its scenery and activities... I don't particularly like San Francisco itself.

Out of those, haven't been to seattle, but... I don't think I'd like it due to the lack of sun.

I voted "other" because my vote would be for Boise. It may not be as large as other cities on the list but it offers just as much as a few others on the list, such as a neighboring city to the Southeast. Boise offers the type of outdoor activities that people expect the typical Western city to have and is near so much beautiful outdoor scenery with mountains, deserts, deep forests . Plus Boise is growing, vibrant, clean and people are happy there
For a larger city I would have to choose Portland.

I voted Denver since I lived there and know it the best. Otherwise it would be San Fran.

Denver has the best rep on City Data; even though I bet most people who put Denver on a pedestal have never been there.

San Francisco, and it's not particularly close. Seattle and Denver seem nice, though. LA's not for me.
