I voted Georgia. I don't like calling it the "Best" but it's my personal favorite. It has diverse landscape (as do many of the Southern States) with mountains, flatlands, rivers, beaches, etc. but it also has diversity in the city-scape as well. Atlanta is a modern inland metropolis with passable mass transit, a great airport and some interesting diverse people. Savannah is a beautiful coastal city with a lot of history and culture.
There's a lot to like about all of them, but Georgia takes the cake at least in my mind.
Is there a specific question about Southern states other than another poll?
1) Are you about to move to a Southern state and want to know what is the best fit for you?
2) Are you faced with a variety of places to transfer to via a job, and need help with your decision?
The higher-ups are in the process of possibly considering the possibility of adding some sub rooms in here to address some specific "this vs that" or polls or whatever, but really, we're getting way too many generalized polls that aren't addressing specific concerns or questions about the subject. Let's hold off for a while so folks who have legit questions regarding the U.S. can use the room for things other than smackdowns, vs, and polls.
Thank you.
