I am jealous of you! Michigan is one state that begs further exploration from me. I can't wait especially to explore the UP.
It's very nice. I would recommend Marquette and the Keewenaw Peninsula. Lots of neat falls and Lake Superior is a great crown jewel. If you're familiar with the Northwoods it does have more Canadian influences.
Does anyone have any idea what happened to the website used to create the maps in this thread? It redirects eventually to the webstore for Google Chrome. Has anyone come across a similar county map generating website?

I went to the original URL about 3 years ago, created an account, and created a map. Shortly after that the URL became inaccessible. This new URL looks like the old site, but my account doesn't work there and my map is not there. It must be a separate site. Too bad I lost my original map. It had 1441 counties visited. I don't think I'll go to the trouble of starting over on this new site. I still have my paper map with counties colored in with red pencil I'll keep.
But I would like to know what happened to that original URL.
