It's very nice. I would recommend Marquette and the Keewenaw Peninsula. Lots of neat falls and Lake Superior is a great crown jewel. If you're familiar with the Northwoods it does have more Canadian influences.

Does anyone have any idea what happened to the website used to create the maps in this thread? It redirects eventually to the webstore for Google Chrome. Has anyone come across a similar county map generating website?

I can't highlight all the counties on the map so I'll just list them out like this: I have to been all counties in Missouri along I-70, U.S. 61 from St. Louis north, along U.S. 67 from poplar bluff a the way to Jacksonville Illinois, I-44, I-55, and I-29, plus the counties along U.S. 50 from Moniteau County east to St. Louis, Miller County, the county Dexter is in, Maries County, and the county Monnett is in. I have been to all the counties in Illinois along I-55, I-64, I-70, I-72 from Hannibal to Springfield, all of I-39, most of I-90, most of I-94, in Wisconsin I-39, I-90, and I-94 to Wisconsin Dells from the Illinois-Wisconsin border, in Minnesota I-90 from Albert Lea going west, in South Dakota all counties along I-90, in North Dakota along I-94 from the MT border east to Bismarck, all of I-94 and and I-90 in Montana, in Idaho I-90 west to I-15, all of I-15 in Idaho south from there to I-84, I-84 to Salt Lake City, I-80 east to I-25, I-25 south to Colorado Springs. I have traveled on virtually all of I-70 from near its end at I-15 to Columbus, as well as I-70 from Hagarstown, MD to the beginning of I-68, all of I-68 in Maryland and West Virginia, I-79 from Morgantown to Charleston, I-64 from Charleston to Louisville, I-44 in all of Oklahoma from the Missouri state line to Oklahoma City, all of I-40 from Oklahoma City to Flagstaff, north through Utah, I-35 from Albert Lea to Mason City, IA u.s.20 to avenue of the saints, I-29 in Iowa to state route 2 west to Lincoln, NE.
