In the context of u.s. cities, 5 million plus metros... I would enjoy some smaller European cities as they are built much more densely and offer urban car free quality over quantity lifestyle, where as ones that size in the u.s. are suburban culture with a few office buildings. Pretty much in the 10,000+ per sq mile density range w/ lots of walkable areas. For the lifestyle I want, the other cities just do not offer it.
The top 10 on this list are about the only cities I would choose to live in within the U.S.
Those are really weird population categories. In that case, I would be living in a "huge skyline mega city"...that is definitely not the case.
