Never heard of "Pacific Southwest" as a region before, and interestingly according to this Montana is in the Pacific Northwest, and Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico are a part of the American heartland?

The "Southeast" consists of three states? Kind of cray-cray, among other deficiencies.

The heartland looks way too big to me. The intermountain west and Midwest need to be split up. How the heck is the SE three states.

Not even close. The southeast is too small, and the heartland is way too big. Imagine thinking Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, West Virginia, and New Mexico are part of the heartland.
