where would you live In the the states and under 200k? So work is not an issue. The only issue is where do you like it best considering whats important to you. Please tell me what type of home you think you can buy for that 200k in the location of your choice and why you chose that location.

Thanks

$200k - Greenville SC.

If I had more, I'd live up there in Greenville SC or Asheville still, but I'd have a home down here in FL too, preferably on the coast. I like Ponte Vedra/Northeast FL, and the panhandle.

Daytona Beach FL

I know I could find a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage, with pool & small yard with around 1500 sq ft or so, for less than 200k in Daytona. It may need some TLC but they're out there for around 120k-150k.

I've been to Daytona the last 3 July's for the race. I LOVE IT! I love the feel of the town. I love NASCAR & I love that Daytona International Speedway is in the middle of town right next to the airport, across the street from the mall, & 5 minutes from the beach. It just feels like home to me. I feel at peace & calm & I know that that is where I am supossed to be.

Now if I could just get the money to move down there.

$200k would get you about 10 houses in/around Vegas if you go now before they are torn down.

I would stay right where I am. This area has great schools for the kids, great hunting and fishing as well. Short drive to playhouses, a bigger city with museums, there is just everything I could want in a place to live and raise my family right here. Been all over the Country and picked this place. With 200k you can get a lot of house around here, or a smaller place on 20 to 40 acres. My 1st choice would be well under the 200k price though and would be this house. Very nice place and a great location in town. 209 East James (http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/209-East-James_Scottville_MI_49454_1106578270 - broken link)

Other places would be out of town and have a little land with them.
2081 West Dewey Rd, (http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/2081-West-Dewey-Rd_Scottville_MI_49454_1108515817 - broken link)

This one has peaked my interest as well. Building sits as square as the day it was built and I would LOVE to have some extra $ to fix it back up. 3041 South Schwass,
