The way you have been talking about the East coast and the Midwest in some of your other posts, why bother asking this? Plus you are a bit vague, depends on what schools and what you are going for. There are lots of schools in both California and Ohio.
I have opportunities with scholarships for schools in both Cali and OH, where should i go? I want: diversity, party atmosphere(maybe OH state?), etc
Having lived in Ohio most of my life I can give you a great deal of knowledge about Ohio state. In Ohio there is some kind of requirement to liking Ohio State. I never really cared for football. However I have been down to High Street many times. My cousin actually goes to OSU. Its a REALLY fun school. One of the biggest party school in the country. And its right in downtown Columbus (C-bus). Freshman can't have cars and its a really big campus. Word on the block is OSU is getting trickier to get into tho.
Another "fun" school is Ohio University. Which is basically a 4 year party. Its in Athens, OH which is more secluded (you drive some weird road for like an hour with no cell phone service once you get off the high way). Since I'm guessing you are from NYC it doesn't really matter what part of Ohio its near since its not like you will drive home on weekend. OU is not too too hard to get into. Most of my high school attended OU.
Then there is Kent. Its a party school. It's fun, so I hear. Only time i visited was taking my sister to cheer camp. Its sorta near cleveland. Girls from my internship commuted to Independence from Stowe, so if you want a "night out" in downtown cleveland its do-able. Althought its like they say "Kent Read, Kent Write, Kent State". Its a fantastic nursring school tho.
If you have any other questions private message me. I know all about the Ohio College scene. Other schools include BGSU, university of cinci, CSU, John Carrol...I could go on forever!
CALIFORNIA!!! There is NOTHING in Ohio. Also, Ohio isn't known for its diversity. CA has the beach, mountains, desert, large cities, small towns, and everything in between.
Hrrm... well what are your school options in each... That is kind of a weird combination..
I mean what are we talking about... Case Western vs. BGSU? or Stanford vs. Cal State Chico?
They are nothing alike.
