What are the States which make more efforts to develop the green energies offering the best perspectives of employment to go out of the economic crisis?
A Swiss "green" battery company recently decided to base its US headquarters, R&D, and manufacturing in Oregon. A start-up electric motorcycle company is doing the same thing in the state. Vestas, a Danish company that develops and manufactures wind turbines, has its North American headquarters in Portland. Oregon is also the number one solar manufacturer in the country.
The battery company, ReVolt, chose Oregon because the state "walks the walk" and doesn't just "talk the talk" when it comes to all things green. That's not to say those jobs will make up for the jobs already lost in the economy... Oregon probably still won't be a good place to go coming out of the bad economy.
