Question: What is the most beautiful historic residential neigborhood in the U.S.?
We are only interested in 2 criteria:
1) a high concentration of beautiful, historic homes;
2) decent weather for most of the year.

(Assume emloyment , housing costs, and all other factors irrelevant.) Feel free to post any photos if you have them.
Thanks in advance.
The weather may rule it out, but West Pittston, Pa. has beautiful houses and neighborhoods next to the Susquehanna river.

I vote Eufaula, AL. One of the most beautiful historic main streets I've ever seen.

Eufaula, Alabama

Another historic gem is Madison, GA.

- Visit Historic Madison, Georgia! Just 1 hour from Atlanta.
