Oh my gosh, I forgot about Big Beaver! My family's ancestral farm was located there, and my dad owned a piece of it for many years. The tax preparer in Colorado cracked up when she heard the name.
Whats even funnier is somewhere in MI (I think) is a exit sign for Big Beaver Rd. The exit sign # is 69. lol So when youre driving down the road you see "exit 69: Big Beaver Rd". lol
A tiny little suburban municipality here in the Twin Cities is called Medicine Lake. Sounds gross, doesn't it? Also, not a town, but there was an ethnic retaurant in Minneapolis called Perfume River. I liked that name.
