Ithaca, NY...While it is inland, it is on Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes region. You might like Syracuse, which is on a lake and has the type of neighborhoods you want on the city's Eastside. You might actually love communities like Skaneateles or Cazenovia that are both about 20 minutes from Syracuse and are on lakes of the same name of the community. Cazenovia is East of Syracuse and Skaneateles is West of Syracuse.
