I am graduating college in 2 weeks and am deciding on which of these two cities to move to. If anyone can give me some advice or what they think, that would be great. Thanks!
Lots of culture
Great museums
Perfect city for employment especially if you want to work with the gov or you have a security clearance
Great public transportation
Decent nightlife, but the bars close at 1:45 during the week
DC Negatives:
Very expensive, expect to pay 1200+ for a one bedroom in a decent area
Bad traffic so move near your job
Ranked #1 in HIV rates and all STDS in America
Rude People
Great public transportation but if you are planning on staying outside of the beltway and taking the metro into downtown expect to pay $15 to park and to ride to and from work
Atlanta Positives:
Nicer People
Cheaper cost of living. Average one bedroom is $600. House that will cost $500k in DC will cost you $200k in Atlanta
New Union City Homes - Search Union City, Georgia Home For Sale Listings (http://www.newhomes.com/search.jsp?city=Union+City&state=Georgia&bed=0&bat h=0&minPrice=90000&maxPrice=325000&zip=&base=0&lux ury_homes=0&limit=60 - broken link)
LOTS of developments/growth coming to the city once the economy turns back around, Atlanta will be a totally different city in 3+ years
Lots of concerts, festivals, etc
Nice Skyline
52 HQ's are moving here and several hollywood movie studios are looking to move to Atlanta soon
Atlanta Negatives
Public Transportation could be a lot better
A lot of bars/clubs have closed because of the economy. You can still party on any night of the week while having several options even on Monday night.
Traffic isnt as bad as DC but plan on living close to your job

Definitely DC for me. I was partying there last fall for my cousin's wedding...the scene is incredible for young professionals. Plus it's a much wealthier city than Atlanta, so it may give you more opportunity in the future.
