which town is the best for us? (Savannah, Rome: crime rates, safe area)

We want to move to GA,but not sure with town, can anyone recommend?, first I have to sorry about my English, I am from Asia country so my English writing skill is not so good, my husband is American, we don't work so we don't need to be near the city, good shooping and good healthy vegetarian restuarant and health food store, nice neighbourhood. No traffic. Thank you so much

Not as much traffic? Good vegetarian joints? Savannah or Athens. I would say my hometown of Rome, but I'm not sure of a really good vegetarian restaurant.

Thank you Georgiafrog,, I just look Athens , I never been there. , how is it over the? Can you tell me about Athens,, savannh is too much crime, too many people, that what I heard so I think we donlt want to live there

Athens is a serious college town. The University of Georgia dominates the downtown, so there is a pretty active downtown scene. Don't write off Savannah so soon. Crime is pretty localized in certain areas there, as it is in much of Georgia. High crime rates in Georgia in my experience do not equal unsafe cities, but unsafe areas within those cities- usually easy to avoid.
