I think you are that's why you want the population to be off because it would probably hurt you to see that Columbus may regain the 2nd largest city title back but if you got the larger metro why does it really matter!?

Not making sense to me? Me repeating you? How dare you belittle me like that...LOL have a nice day riverdawg...when you guys show me where a Columbus posters said something I'll respond.

And once again, you keep going back and forth on information: You couldn't show me where a Columbus poster said anything about their city because it's not there so now you're trying to find something else to talk to make yourself look revelant..

I'll do you and I a huge favor and quit going back and forth with you because you can't make up your mind what you want to talk about!

Even if I did say Augusta was losing population please tell me what that has to do with a Columbus poster bring up something about their city in this thread?...

Next! I don't have time for children.
It's funny how none of these posters care(no offended or inferiority comments) when PJA put up the economic census, and it showed Augusta having 'more' than everybody else.. The posters from the other cities said its five years old, and can't be used... Even though it's not 'estimates', and they want us to believe they're metros have added so much retail, businesses, etc compared to Augusta.. Or when people bring up the counties next to them to make the entire area seem bigger, but two people(Riverdawg and dpatt) can't respond to this thread..

The poster had the population estimates next to each city... Please stop being naive, and we know the reason behind this thread.. Did you notice the OP didn't put the actual numbers for each metro, but only included the county estimates.. Why? Maybe because it showed metro Augusta gaining more people than Columbus...

There's no denying you don't comment FREQUENTLY on these types of threads in the Georgia Forum.. You always taking up for Columbus, and going against Augusta each time..

The total amount of comments aren't relevant to the threads in the Georgia forum comparing the 2nd tier cities.. Nobody from Augusta hardly ever gets involved until they mention our city...

You're the one who said they don't care, but rushes to respond to any comments made by Augusta posters...

These guys get worried when there is something reported that has Columbus numbers better than Augusta's. It's hilarious.

It's sad because the Augusta Poster's started the bickering and then have the nerves to get mad when someone comments....

Still waiting for an answer that I'll never get too!

The Savannah MSA is already significantly more dense than Augusta, and the CSA as well. When the HHI-Beaufort MiSA of SC is included, the Savannah region still has more people and greater population density than the Augusta region. Much of what's considered "metro Augusta"' is in fact people spread over a huge area of very rural counties. Savannah has more people in a smaller area.

This also explains largely why the Savannah TV market is No. 92 in the country while Augusta is only 111.

I got tired before doing Columbus or Macon but it's very easy to calculate if somebody wants to go for it.
This is a perfect example of what I mean... Why are posters from Augusta called out for being offended or having a inferiority complex?

What does this post have to do with the OP? Nobody said anything related to density, or the tv market lol...

Plus the person who comparing the 2010 census population of metro Augusta versus the 2011 census estimate for metro Savannah..

Didnt know I be little you but seems like there is animosity toward Augusta. Maybe its because we took Columbus only claim to fame and became GA 2nd largest city. Maybe it's because Augusta has the largest GDP, metro, retail revenue and art & entertainment even though Augusta only has 1 major interstate.

Why didn't he put how much each metro grew in terms of raw numbers?

I don't care if the estimates were higher than Richmond because it's estimates showing the opposite...

Columbus MSA 2020-2010

334,820-294,865=39,995

Augusta MSA 2020-2010

608,456-556,877= 51,579
