We are building one of the new villas. We bought in March and should be in our villa the first of November.

The ammenities center is spectacular. The staff has been very helpful and honest. They have made some definite changes in the floor plan since we bought, but they allow you to back out after you see the model. The model villa open house is this weekend, so we are anxious.

Everytime we visit, the residents are very friendly and talk about how much they love living there.

Will let you know later how it ends up. Sara

Many thanks. We are considering a move from Mississippi and we are going up to look at Deaton shortly.

They are having a big push this Saturday and Sunday. If you buy then, they will pay 2 years of homeowner's due. They are $261 a month for the villas, but that includes your homeowner's insurance. The other homeowner's dues are around $190, I think.

Keep on their website as they do these pushes everyonce in a awhile. We got $10,000 off, $5,000 toward closing and $5,000 worth of upgrades the weekend we contracted for ours.

Default Village at Deaton Creek

We have owned our home here for nine months, and it is perfect for us. We especially like the active social life with our neighbors. We have rapidly improved our physical condition by visiting the gym three times a week. It is well located between two grocery stores, each two miles away. A new shopping area opened a few months ago at Spout Springs Rd, eight miles away. The county has approved new shopping areas two miles away. Doctor's office building will be complete in four months, and a new regional hospital is approved to open nearby in about five years.

Default Village at Deaton Creek

That is an ad for the "Villa" section of Deaton Creek. Pulte/Del Webb has discontinued the Villa type homes, which were the smallest being built in Deaton Creek. Homes now range from about 1200 square feet to about 2700 square feet, excluding basements. Accurate info is available on the Del Webb site for Georgia: www.liveon-atlanta.com. Just click on Deaton Creek sections!

Default Yes we like the Village at Deaton Creek !

We have been at VDC for almost a year - very glad that we moved there.

I have a few years until retirement so must still drive one hour each way but still enjoy much of the amenities.

Construction of our home was better than any house we have owned (7).

The one-year waranty inspection was last week. They were easy to deal with on the few things we needed.

Default Village at Deaton Creek - Georgia

We have lived at VDC in Hoschton, GA, since Dec 2007, and we love it. It is well located four miles off of Interstate 85 between Atlanta and the North Georgia Mountain/National Forests. Lake Lanier with all of its parks and recreation opportunities is fifteen minutes away. The community will be a good size (1300 homes) for sharing the financial burden of the 35,000 square foot clubhouse, recreation areas, lakes and trails. Georgia's largest shopping mall is twenty minutes away. The home site offers wooded lots, lots with stream views, mountain top views or a few lots with meadow settings. Five wineries and two race tracks are within half an hour of our community. Several miles of a long biking/hiking trail along the Mulberry River have been completed, beginning three miles from our community. An upscale boutique shopping center will be built across the street in four years, and the first of many buildings comprising the Northeast Georgia Medical Center - South Campus was just opened this month.
