Yes, it is a development, a very nice one at that.
We moved about 10 weeks ago. WE LOVE IT !
We are on a 20 acre private estate which is beautiful.
The people are wonderful here. Warm, friendly and very helpful. So so different from S.F.
Although there isn't much for a teenager to do, my son has not even thought about going back. Since there isn't a lot of commercialized things to do, we have had to reinvent our ways of having fun. It also means we eat in more, are home more, don't waste alot of gas running around town, and we are spending more quality time together around the fire. We have become a much tighter family. It is wonderful, although VERY different from S.F.
We have seen some less than desirable neighborhoods around, but it is a humbling experience all the same. Makes you appreciate what you have.
Even the "bad" parts of town (that we have seen) do not seem as bad as parts of S.E. Florida. People seem different. I am comfortable driving thru without locking my doors (during the day), haven't been thru at night.

By the way, the weather is amazing. It has started to get chilly at night. Recently been experiencing highs of 68-70, and lows from 36-55. A wonderful change from sweat and humidity !
