We are currently living in new jersey, looking to get away from the cold weather. We have three dogs and found a house in dacula we liked. Why? It had a nice fence .On a more serious note,we'd like to find out about crime rate, schools(my husband is a teacher),hospital(I work in radiology),vets, dog parks, community(did I mention we are a biracial couple). ,and a good university.Any help would be great. Also how is the weather,I'm caribbean and was hoping for something close.Thanks.Someone pleaaaaaaaaase respond.

well Dacula is pretty far away from atlanta if that matters at all for you. area is growing rapidly do finding a job in your fields would be pretty easy since teachers and hospital workers are always needed. the closest "good" university would be UGA in Athens.
as far as the biracial thing is concerned, everyone that lives in GA is used to diversity as whites make up only about 55% of the state's population. you may get people who "look twice" but that is it. our racial situation is no diff. from new jersey. crime isn't a big concern out in Dacula. climate is colder in winter (highs around 48-62 usually)

April - October is a lot like car. without the breeze

Thanks Kevin for responding so quickly.Do you know of any other areas I might be interested in? I don't fancy the city ,I'd prefer a small clean town or farm, just lots of space for the dogs. Thanks again.

I would consider living where you work. Traffic here is terrible. There are many good hospitals in the outlaying areas. Don't go downtown to work unless you rent of lease a condo there. The traveltime will kill you.
