All,

I'll soon be moving to God's country - Atlanta, GA for a job in Norcross. This job will actually require a significant amount of airplane travel - so keep that in mind. I'm basically looking for a quiet, clean place to rent.

I'm 24, going on 40, male, & not much a partier, so that's not a requirement...umm...I'd really appreciate any recommendations anyone can give.

Thank you all!

Movin' from Fresno

I would look for a place in Duluth or Dunwoody! Norcross is not the best area, so you will need to live in a nearby city. I would look on craigslist.com

I lived in norcross in the peachtree corners area for many years. I have not been there in many years, but the area west of peachtree industrial was free of the riff raff that gives norcross a bad name.

Look up some apartments called "conifer crossing". That area is/was very safe and nice. You might go a mile down holcomb bridge, there are many very nice apartment complexes there.

PS, when people speak bad of norcross, they are talking about the eastern part near buford highway. The western part is very nice.

You are also within 5 miles of the doraville subway station which goes right to the atl airport. It sounds like conifer crossing would be ideal.

I was just looking at the reviews of conifer crossing on apartmentratings.com cause i used to live there.

I noticed there were like 4 really bad reviews in the last 2 months and the poster said they charged him 1,000 dollars so who knows if there are unbias reviews. The regional manager of the owners posted her email in the forum and said to contact her if you had problems.

But I will say the area is nice.
