Hi,

My husband and I would like to move to Georgia. We would like to buy a home with 2+ acres of land, and no more than 45 mins from the ocean. We don't care about the school systems, because we don't have any children going to school. What Towns would you recommend. Thank you so much, if you could help us out.

Deb

There are plenty of areas that fit what you're looking for along the 100-mile Georgia coastline. Research Effingham and Bryan counties (suburbs of Savannah), McIntosh and Glynn counties (Brunswick and the Golden Isles resort areas), and Camden County on the Florida border near Jacksonville (home to the Kings Bay Nuclear Submarine base).

Atlanta isnt by the beach. Post to savannah but you will be hard pressed to find anything here with that much land.
