I am moving to GA soon and I would like to know is Lithonia a nice place to live and raise children at? I am not gay, is there any room for straight folks in the south?

Default That is funny!

Contrary to what you may have been told, Georgia is not full of gay people. There is a heavy concentration of them in certain parts of The City of Atlanta, but nothing that should shock the conscience especially if you are looking at Lithonia.

Lithonia is a very populated neighborhood. It has some good and bad spots, but crime is everywhere some places just have more of it than others. There are a few goods schools. The better schools are located in gwinnett county. My daughter actually attends a gwinnett county school, she's a senior, will be graduating in May. She will tell you that the schools system in GA is very different from up North, more rigid and stricker.

Overall, Georgia is nice, the pay is cheap, but the cost of living is inexpensive and people are so polite. Good luck with the move
