@ canewbie-I don't mind local chains. Will probably give Arnie's a shot. @Magellan--You're right; I'm only gonna be there a few days, a week tops. Not enough time to eat through a comprehensive listing!
I checked out Rosie's on allbusiness' link. Now I'm REALLY disappointed to have missed Rosie's! I hope the new owner can make a go of it without changing it too much!

There is also Pal's Diner in Cascade, as well. Decent food. Not as great as it used to be, but still good.

Probably don't want to miss out on Yesterdog, although I find it to be a bit overrated... I prefer Red Hot , but I guess yesterdog is an experience even if their workers are annoying
