Not only does it bring an extra touch
of class and distinction to downtown,
but it fills a nice little gap in the
G.R. skyline. The view from the
top of the hill just West of the city is
shaping up to be a real signature shot.
Now if the city will just do something to
take advantage of that awesome riverfront
(ala San Antonio) we'll be on our way.
Mystery-Mystery project anyone?

This hotel is owned by the DeVos/VanAndels family. The management team that runs the Amway Grand Plaza will also run this hotel. It's a good get for downtown GR and hopefully it will bring in bigger conventions and business people.

Yes, Alticor did develop the hotel, but the JW and AGP will be completely different entities, and in some ways competing against each other. The Marriott corporation will employ the hotel manager and all staff.
