The inception of race presupposed that human populations can be divided into homogenous groups. That itself, presupposed that there were inherent differences between these groups, which necessitated ideas and associations within and between these groups. And yet, there are no groups that are genetically homogeneous within and heterogeneous between. So, race being a classification of human population differences is an idea that is not supported by genetic studies. Instead, race is a social construct.
Furthermore, racism is a system that enables a social group (by use of institutional and structural power) to produce, promote, and preserve privileges and advantages; as well as oppress, suppress and marginalize other social groups.
Government programs alleviate social problems, not eradicate them. And if you haven't learned of the simplicities, inaccuracies, invalidity, and misrepresentations of IQ and IQ tests, then it's no wonder you have an outdated and cringe-worthy perspective.
Its part of our whole cultural stupidity. "Only whites can be racist". For example, on a college campus, you can start a Black club, Asian club, Japanese club, Gay club, Women's club etc. But start a "Male white only club", you're obviously a racist full of hate who should be thrown out of school.
Anyone can join the regular dating sites, no reason for minorities not to. I suppose any of the specialized sites just emphasize that they are looking to date within that group, even though they could specify that requirement within generalized dating sites. In our PC culture it probably makes people more comfortable not having to personally specify in their profile they are seeking their own race only, since the site itself already does that.
I didn't say they couldn't. I said if they wanted a partner of the same race/religion as they are, they are very much in the minority on regular dating sites and will do better on a site dedicated to that race or religion. Why should they pay to join a site where maybe 2% of members are of their race/religion? White people have the majority on any other site, I do not see why any white person would need a white person dating site, but I can easily see why a black person who wanted to date another black person would not do well on those same sites.
For a Jewish person to want to meet and marry another Jewish person is not about being "PC" in any way.
That way of thinking delegitimizes the emotions and experiences of non-whites and suppresses any meaningful discussion about racism. Racial animus towards beneficiaries of racism is not racist. A slave showing animus towards a slave master is not the same as a slave master showing animus towards a slave.
