Never been charged withe a felony but I don't like the mugshot sites. It's not like it's a public service it's basically pay and you can get you pic taken down. Some of these people on these sites are not even guilty. They were just arrested they can still be found innocent but if they don't have 300 dollars to take their picture down they up it will stay.
One of my coworkers lives off of Googling people!! We came across one of our coworkers with SEVERAL mugshots across different sites. I was floored since he's such a really good guy and family man. What made it so bad was the crimes he committed, not once but several times!!! (Nothing violent or sexual )I knew him for years and would have never thought of him this way, EVER!!. I now try see him as a guy who turned his life around, for I hadn't known of his past. But due to the mugshots and crimes he committed, I could honestly never look at him the same.
I think it's wrong to publish a person's mugshot in the local paper. They have not been convicted and why try to humuliate them?
