For offices like these (congress, senate etc), there should be a 2 term max. Lifelong politicians for starters are very bad for any society. They settle and get comfortable while they fight for nothing else but for their lobbyist and their pay raises.


Same should be for supreme court. From time to time, it is good to infuse new blood in any system.

1) Supremes have no say in their compensation

2) Supremes are no more vulnerable to lobbyists in year 10 or 20 or 30 than they are in year 1.
