Sexism exists partly because men have not shared in the responsibility of raising children, and have had more free time to discover and innovate.

So in men's eyes the achievement of men that came before them is motivating, where as with women there are fewer examples if their ambitions are more than raising children.

Men have an advantage when it comes to strength because of testosterone. That's it. As for mental capacity, its the same and some would argue better than men because testosterone makes men overly aggressive.

We have just begun to unlock our womens potential......

Great thread.

You know, I plan to be a great father. I want the responsibility to be piled onto me.

As for the smarts, they're about the same. The difference is in which emotions get in the way of logic. For men, it's aggression in place of logic. For women, it's more about following social norms in place of logic. Of course, I'm WAY over-generalizing. Tends to happen with these kinds of discussions.

By the way, both genders have many sex hormones circulating. Many androgens and many estrogens, so it's hard to simplify.

So, where's the debate?
