The precedent has been set, a repeat of the same type of tactics will come-about during the
next flare-up. So I say nay, it is a fail, one way or another, not worth it either way.

The death-rate is very much skewed by people who have certain conditions. This fact was known very early on.............THAT should have been the basis for building a plan to minimize deaths using logic, reason and stats.

If regular people congregate unsafely, it undoes any sophisticated plan. People with diabetes, asthma, etc. were never going to be tracked down in huge numbers and sequestered away indefinitely. It's likely unlawful to quarantine sub-groups of the population without their having contagious diseases, except briefly due to suspected exposure.

Stores are getting as much or in some cases, alot more TP than normal right now...the problem is, as soon as they stock the shelves, one or two people will come along and buy it ALL.

People are even calling the stores, to find out what days they get their trucks and what time the truck usually comes in, they will buy it as fast as they can unload it from the truck.

So, it wouldnt really make a difference if the stores ordered double the amount of TP, those same people would just buy all of it right away.

For now stores should limit sales of TP unless the mass buyer has some very good reason to need it, such as for an elderly relative, if they have ten children, or want to decorate a tree.

I thought stores were rationing toilet paper! In my town, they are. No more than one package per customer...but it still disappears immediately.
