I'm trying to keep my list down to a manageable number of peeves. Which is worse---Mormons, or Schwanns?

People who walk away from their diesel pickups, and leave them idling. They're almost as loud as leaf-blowers.

#1

How about people who leave 5 car lengths between them and the car in front of them at a red light?

I know they probably see themselves as being all safe and thoughtful, etc. What I see is that it shows a 100% lack of courtesy and respect for everyone behind them. Those unfortunates behind will never make it through the green light, thanks to the 5 morons who took up the equivalent of 25 car lengths ahead of them.

Cell phones. I hate them worse each day. I'm thinking of burning mine at the stake next week.

Music in eating establishments that is much too loud.

Authors (of fiction) who get some easily checked detail wrong, ie the sun setting at 9:15 pm in Feb. in the northern hemisphere. It sometimes make me give up on the the story since I expect more carelessness.

People who take the whole family - mom, dad, 3 kids, grandma, uncle etc. to places like Costco or Sam's club as though it were a theme park not a warehouse and the kids run rampant and carts are blocking my way. I'm there to get a chore done not to idle away the day. The shopping really can be accomplished by just one adult.

People that don't do their jobs, therefore, I have to do their jobs and my job on top of it. To the point that I have to actually pre-plan to include doing their jobs.

This is why I am anti-social.

Coworkers and supervisiors who seem to have nothing else to do in the am but stand around, bs, and watch you work. I need no supervision.

People who drive with no headlights on at night and seem totally unaware they are not on. These are regular people not gangbangers. Dash lights are dark inside, HELLO?
