Who is Debbie Schlussel and why should I care what she thinks.
I would need to see a more balanced reporting before I get excited about it. It seems she is really stretching the Hezbollah part to make a point. This style of reporting is one I usually ignore without more information.
And this being in the Great Debates forum is a stretch.

My thoughts are that you know absolutely nothing about either of those two faiths. They have almost everything in common. They disagree only on a few liturgical details. They both pray to the same single God, and they require very similar moral conduct from their faithful.
Would you say the same thing, if she was of Jewish ancestry, and said she celebrated both Jewish and Catholic faith? Judaism and Catholicism are as different from each other as Islam and Catholicism.
