Guys,
Sammy is gathering intel for a more-credible 419 email scam. "I'm an exiled prince who needs a one time deposit in order to install wind turbines and solar panels in Western Africa to deliver power to the people and a return on your investment of 3000%!! Just send your money via Western Union to this shady P.O. Box. Thanks!"
Energy is energy. "Green" energy is expensive energy. Expensive means that it consumes more resources than other forms of energy. Therefore it is not, by definition, "green."
Try to get comfortable with the concept that a "cost" is the consumption of goods and services and that any such consumption detracts from the reaming available resources on the planet. If it costs more, it represents more consumption. More consumption is bad.
It does not matter that the "cost" incurred is for a multimillion dollar wind turbine made in a factory with iron ore products, petroleum products and coal fired energy, or the money is paid to some Arab for taking oil out of his sand. The more that is paid the worse it is for the environment and the global economic result.
