I read where thorium was the power considered for a base on the moon. After reading up on Thorium it seems like it had much promise. But the government pushed for a fast reactor and that's where we went. Thorium seems much safer and easier to power, and shut down. Ive been using solar and wind for years, but it just dosent work that well. Very limited.
