Look at it this way little children. When I was in school, they taught us about the 4 ice ages that have happened in North America, which changed the topography of the land. So those happened supposedly without man's influence. So it that happened "naturally", it also shows that it warmed again "naturally". From this we can learn that the climate changes constantly without man's influence. So the changes today also are most likely "natural".

Keep in mind also that we have just come through a 30 year period of high sunspot/solar activity. The sun is where we get our warm climate. Now the sun appears to be going into a period of lower sunspot/solar activity, and the result will likely be a cooler climate. So don't worry your pretty little heads. It helps to remember that in the 70's, the news media was warning us about a coming "ice age". I've also heard scares about world over population and mass starvation, nuclear wars, and alien invasions from outer space. As you grow older, you'll hopefully learn you're being lied to, manipulated, exploited by those in charge for their own purposes.

You know, I would have been really open to hearing your theory, but that was quite possibly the most condescending, arrogant, rude post I've ever read on CD that didn't include profanity.

Have a nice day.

You're the "denier". You are denying the science that I cited which does not support AGW.
Posting sound bites about he said / she said has NOTHING to do with the science. That's a cop out.

Solar activity is one of the forcing functions in all climate models. The earth is warming faster than can be accounted for by solar insolation. When you were in school you should have actually taken a science course. So much ignorance, so little understanding.

One must look at recent science. Science changes rapidly in this day and age as does electronics. Make sure the science is not tainted by the Republican political agenda that favors big energy and coal! Even Pence (as late as last night's debate) was pushing the coal industry!

97% of the world's scientists say current global warming has been caused by a huge increase in carbon dioxide in the 20th and 21st century. Deniers should be advised to look up the actual evidence on this before dismissing.

These have been, and continue to be, valid concerns. Lots of people have died from malnutrition and disease in the past few decades, and just because we haven't experienced a nuclear exchange since the dawn of the atomic age doesn't mean the risk has been alleviated.

There was a mini ice age from about 1600 to 1850.

600 years ago 99% of the world's scientists said the earth was flat.

The Church said the world was flat. Scientists knew they were wrong but largely kept silent. Idiots tell us things they know nothing about.

He lied or did not know what he was talking about.

Print page two. If you look carefully at the map you will notice it has markings showing the extent of the glaciers at Glacier Bay throughout the past 250 years. Notice there was no BAY in 1750...it was ALL GLACIER. Notice the rapid retreat in the first hundred and fifty years.

This is a good book for you to read.....she does believe in man-caused climate change, but the book is about NATURAL climate change. It covers climate change, particularly in California over the past couple of thousand years. Makes Al Gore's predictions look like chump change!!
