Nice! Do we know what type of moss was used? How did they survive the dry city environment?

Very interesting! They should mass market smaller ones for home use, that can vastly outperform normal houseplants.

Episode 221: Living Walls - Growing A Greener World®

All sorts of ways to do "living walls" in urban settings, depicted in this site.

Putting some evidence of Nature in among city dwellers may get them to appreciate things in the real world. Ask an urbanite where his food comes from and he'll probably answer "the grocery store."

OTOH- the statement by WHO about deaths from air pollution implies 1 in every 10 deaths each year is not only premature, but due specifically to air pollution. Patently absurd.

And then there's the fallacy that that 10 sq m patch of moss is doing any effective cleansing of air: if it works at all, it's because it's attracting dust via it's charged surface. Once it's "full," it's done. Given that a city block is roughly 2000m x 2000m with an effective height of air column ~10 m, not too much of that air is passing by that planting. I suppose if you stood with your nose in it, you might be getting cleaner air.

The "Green Movement" occupies itself with so much pseudoscience and wishful thinking, it siphons off valuable assets & energies that could be used for things that really would make a difference to Nature.
