It never surprises but it certainly disturbs me that environmental groups are being screened, scanned and scorched by the corporate spy network. Here's a piece in Mother Jones for those not aware of these goings on.
Good for them. PETA and those others are homegrown terrorist groups that should have been brought to justice years ago, in the same fashion that the KKK was driven out of business.

Agreed. A terrorist is a terrorist no matter what their politics.
If organizations are going to engage is questionable behavior - such as the things PETA has done and continues to do - they can expect to become the recipients of a LOT of scrutiny.
Well when you consider groups like ALF, ELF, PETA, etc, can you blame them?
None of those groups seem to be mentioned in the article. Because they exist, does that give the government carte blanche to spy on all environmental groups? Seems kind a Stalinish.
Just because these groups are "green" doesn't mean they suddenly are absent from scrutiny. Anyone who's so zealous to their cause to try and injure or kill those who don't agree should be monitored, then stopped if they try. It's a waste of resources to do everyone in one subgroup, many people aren't that insane.
Maybe wonder about the sanity of the manager if they are putting Quakers and Mennonites under surveillance, as pacifists by definition.
