How about the report by the employee (35 years) of the EPA who disputes the finding...........

Mr. Carlin and a colleague presented a 98-page analysis arguing ......the science behind man-made global warming is inconclusive at best.

The analysis noted that global temperatures were on a downward trend...

It highlighted new research that contradicts apocalyptic scenarios.

In the past we were told that the majority of scientists were not believing in global warming(or that man contributed to it) and we, the believers only had a smattering of professionals who agreed with us.

Now, the shoe is reversed, and truly worldwide the vast majority of professionals do agree that we are contributing to global warming and mainly a few scientists who get some sort of perks from business interests are naysaying.

This is no longer an argument of who is correct, although some try to frame it as a debate. It IS happening, and the time to act is NOW.

Global Warming is a lie and the government knows it:

Global Warming Petition Signed by 31,478 Scientists by Ron Paul

Earth's temperatures are not changing. They are staying the same. Polar ice is not melting. Water at both poles is freezing:

Global Warming Is a Fraud by David Deming

Of course don't let a thing like reality get in the way the environmentalists and their quest for suppressing freedom and creating poverty and death. That's what they do. Cause poverty and death so they can get rich.

Environmentalists are nothing more than communists.

And whatever happened to:

Overpopulation in the 1960s
New Ice Age in the 1970s
Acid Rain and Ozone layer in the 1980s
Kuwati Oil fires in the 1990s

Speaking of the 1990s. Global Warming was supposedly caused by sulfur then. All of a sudden it changed to CO2. Now that people don't believe that lie anymore they call it climate change. Oh well, what should we expect from communists.

Global warming communists also said the Acid Rain was going to get us. How bout the New Ice Age. Nuclear Winter. Three Mile Island. Red Dye #2. Kuwati oil fires. Cancer causing cell phones. No more land fill space. Ozone depletion. Deforestation. Desertification. Oil shortages. Water shortages. Tree shortages. Killer bees from Mexico. Food shortages. Overpopulation. SARS. Swine flu. Avian bird flu. I can't even remember what else the environmentalists made up to try and make money.

And then we couldn't use paper at the grocer anymore. We all switch to plastic. Now plastic is bad for the environment. McDonalds can't use styrofoam so they switch to paper to please the enviros. Guess paper by McDonalds is okay. Just not paper by the grocery stores.

You don't believe that overpopulation, desertification, deforestation, or food shortages are a problem?

Respect your view although I disagree with it.

However, why do people always say "mainly a few scientists who get some sort of perks from business interests are naysaying" about scientists who disagree with the man-made global warming theory.

Because, the same thing can be said about those who are pro-man-made GW. How many researches out there are NOT getting their money from govt grants, companies like GE, or other entities which have an agenda which involves money/profit.

Politics and business interests have muddied the science.

Too much has been invested in regulating "carbon dioxide" by politics and business that they are ignoring new evidence.

Al Gore, GE, the US government, Goldman Sachs stand to make millions if not billions from "carbon dioxide".

BTW..there is wording the the bill (the amendment) that they can add other gases in the future and regulate them as well if they are found to emit as much or more than carbon dioxide.

So they win either way.

You know, when people have NO LEG ON WHICH TO STAND they resort to name calling.

I really resent you calling people who disagree with you 'communist'.
Although American interests are more often than not pre-empted by those of business in our government and many of our policies are skewered in favor of profits for corporations rarther than a healthy and productive life for our citizens - to the point of sending our jobs overseas and lowering the lifestyle and allowing bankruptcies of even the working and insured middle class due to lack of necessary medical care - I don't call the opposition callow corporatists.

Name calling is unproductive.

The fact is that the average American can see his life dwindling away by decisions that he obviously has no contol over. It is not communist to say we should TRY to have some control over our own government, that OUR government should be representing US and not corporations, often whose self-interest no longer corresponds with that of the average American.

No, I don't want to change our government, I just require that it do what the forfathers wanted and get back to representing 'we, the people'.

The most egregious backstabbing is now that our environment is choking us, and indeed, the entire planet.
What kind of future awaits our descendants?

It is no longer time to just bury our heads in the sand and hope things will straighten out. Our very food is poisoning us, and mostly because our government is not protecting us.

Japan, at the first poisoned food gotten from China, refused and still does, ALL Chinese imports into the country.
Britian inspects EVERY cow for mad cow.

We sit by, seemingly, with our thumbs in a dirty place, and just look away because all of this is expensive and not in the best interests of business.

Our companies are fat and lazy and can no longer keep up with the foreign competition. How can this be, you ask? Because they are too often the benefactors of government perks - welfare, if you will. Lean companies know how to compete.

We are going downhill in so many ways, and most of them can be traced to government representing business interests before those of the nation.

THIS TIME we are ready to sacrifice the wellbeing, not just of our own citizens, but of the entire planet. When is enough enough?

We are like sheep, wandering around with blinders as the wolf picks us off, one by one.

I love this country and I love our people. Most of all I love the principles upon which we are founded. Our foundling fathers gave us a system of checks and balances, but never envisioned corporate oligarchies and monopolies that would use the mass of Americans as mere resources - serfs - things to be discarded at will.

More and more average Americans are being stabbed in the back by the very system that they have espoused and defended and sacrificed for.

It has come to us now, poisoning the very planet. If we don't put an end to this it will do so to us. The clock is ticking and the time to act is now.
