Do your neighbors enjoy the view? LOL

I have started putting the sandwiches in the plastic containers made to fit them. Just not enough room in the lunch boxes to put everything else in reusable plastic containers...
suggestions?
Don't cut the fruit, leave it in its own natural wrapper. As far as dry things like sandwiches and pretzels, use waxed paper bags. They're biodegradable and made from renewable resources, and they work just fine for the few hours that a lunch is in the bag.

I wash plastic storage bags out and reuse them, as long as no raw meats have been stored in them. Sometimes even cooked meats. Have the kids stuff the bags back in their lunch boxes and bring them home. Especially with foods like pretzels that aren't gooey or greasy, you can just shake the bag out and use it again. Perhaps to avoid any confusion you can label each bag's contents with a marker.

Some of my neighbors have a chicken coop with several hens which produce fresh eggs for them every morning.
My neighbors were homicidal over two stray cats we adopted and kept outdoors for awhile. I can't imagine what their reactions would be to a chicken coop!

Thanks for the info! I have honestly never seen waxed paper bags but then again, have never even thought to look...
Unfortunately for the fruit, my daughter will not eat an apple with it's skin on it or any other fruit for that matter in it's skin.. she wants them cut up or else there will be no fruit eaten.. so I end up peeling and cutting and putting them in the baggies. I have found some smaller plastic containers that may work for that though.
Thanks again.

i cloth diaper
have my own re-usable bag (easily made out of old tshirts too)
use cloth wipes/tiny washcloths in stead of tissue, tp and baby wipes
clean with baking soda and vinegar or peroxide
compost
plant some veggies
try to unplug things that arent in use
was on cold when i can
minimize my flushes
recycle
and i reuse anything and everything that i can
im sure there is more but i cant think at it at this time. id love to walk and take more public transportation but this town isnt built for it, no sidewalks and i never see the bus? and with a toddler you really need sidewalks! oh an there are no crosswalks either! scary!
