I have a problem with your basic premise. The warming is not accelerating. In fact, it looks like it has reversed.

Point 5. Remember that the man preserved in the Alps ice was dressed for temperate weather when he was frozen eons ago. Could it possibly be that the glaciation wasn't as great back then as it has been recently?

Actually his clothes were stuffed with plant material to ward off the cold. Sort of a cave man Insulfil.

Quote for the day:

So-called "global warming" is just a secret ploy by wacko treehuggers to make America energy independent, clean our air and water, improve the fuel efficiency of our vehicles, kick-start 21st-century industries, and make our cities safer and more livable. Don't let them get away with it!

--Chip Giller, Founder of Grist.org

Unfortunately, it is off of a Starbucks cup...*sigh*...

I've always wondered, if there was clear and convincing evidence for all scientists that we were entering an ice age, would the people advancing the idea of global warming encourage us to release more greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere?

wright or wrong (I believe wrong) get ready to spend money that you probably don't have in order to comply with energy conservation mandates put in place by those in power who want to stay in power. Cap and trade will cost billions..............

I prefer we spend the money bailing out an international financial insurance company instead of wasting the funding on replacing our fossil fueled power plants with lower emission alternates such as nuclear fission facilities capable of using recycled fuel elements from existing nuclear plants. If we did this who would bail out the investors that own the coal mines? IMHO nobody should.
