Hello. May somebody please recommend a good canning book for a true beginner. I am trying to eat better and grow my own food, but that's a whole other topic.

I found this book online Putting Food By which has very good reviews.

I was one of those people (15 years ago) who was shocked that so many foods did not come from a factory but from plants and trees So a real beginner here. I want to pass on this knowledge to my daughter so she doesn't eat like I did growing up.

The Ball BlueBook. That is the gold standard. Look for it by the canning supplies at Walmart, or in most bookstores.
