Hi everyone,

This is kind of an odd question, but I'm looking for a park in Lexington, preferably near the old Lexington bbq, that has picnic tables. I'll be bringing my dog along on a road trip and shouldn't leave her in the car, so I'd like to get my bbq to go and find a nice park. Your help is appreciated!

I think there is one nearby. But my kids are grown and we no longer go there; however, it's located on that road that the Bob Timberlake gallery is on.....headed to 85....I think. Once upon a time it was a very nice place to go.

You can actually walk from Lexington Style Trimmings to Finch Park
Bring bread for the kids to feed the ducks. But This park has nice kid section and shelters

If you're talking about Lexington BBQ on Bus. 85, the closest park I can think of is over off of Hege Drive, behind an old school that's been turned into apartments.

Picnic tables, walking trail, playground, tennis courts, open field.
I believe dogs are permitted, but not on the trail (I've seen many people walk their dogs there).
