I'm trying to find a good location for my sister's upcoming baby shower and was hoping some of you may be able to help me out. Since I live in Raleigh and she lives in Greensboro, it's difficult for me to get a pulse on a nice location to plan to hold her shower, so I was hoping I could get a local perspective!
She told me that she would like something "trendy", but knowing her as I do I know she also wants it to be elegant and charming. Lots of very vague adjectives there, I know! If it helps, she is the type of girl who loves the arts -- dancing, music, visual arts -- and enjoys living in places where she can be close to a rich cultural life. We don't need tons of space -- it will be a small to medium-sized crowd, so an "intimate" setting is okay. It has to be somewhere that will allow us to bring our own food, since we want to make the appetizers and cake personally.
