I have read the previous posts about how there are a lot of cars parked on the street and run down yards and how Shugart is not a good builder. My wife and I have driven in the community multiple times and have noticed some but I would not consider a lot of cars parked in the steet. All the times we visited were on the weekend early afternoon for the most part. This last time my in-laws came with us and they did not see anything that would be a red flag. If anyone has some information i would appreciate it. Not so much concerned with the HOA but overall the quality of people that live here and if anyone has had anyone serious problems with there home. When we drive in the community we always see a lot of people walking there dogs and it seems like a nice place. From my point of view it seems like the residents take care of there lawns but im sure just like any neighborhood not everyone does.
My wife and I are in our mid 20s and looking to start a family soon so we don't mind a community with kids.
Thanks for your help
We have read the comments about this builder and were planning to attend an open house in the Planters Walk neighborhood near Thomasville this weekend. Anyone know if the same issues exist there?
