I'm planning to take my gf to watch sunrise with me. Anyone know a ideal place for that? preferably around greensboro area. But anywhere else is fine too. Or suggest some romantic places that we can go to.

You probably don't want to get up early enough to drive to Pilot Mtn or Hanging Rock for a sunrise, but they're pretty place... maybe you could do a sunset picnic?

The above to recommendations are great but they will not be accessible for a sunrise the state parks do not open til 8am I agree a sunset would be a better option but try to arrive hour before official sunset time. This way you two can enjoy all phases of a sunset.

Hanging Rock you both will have to hike to view sunset. Pilot Mountain you can sit in the car it is winter so ...
