My wife and I drove through NC four weeks ago, and out of all the places we visited we loved the Triad Cities area. Clemmons is at the top of our list of places to settle down in among other parts of the state.

While there, I met with members of the NCESC and TRC to have a job set up before escap- relocating from Miami, Florida. It's bad news here, and we need to get out now. The cost of living has surpassed income in Florida and so we're accepting any leads/help we gan get to be your new neighbors.

Our obstacle is in my finding employment in the area. I'm currently going down this list: www.clemmons.org/businesses/businesses.htm]Village (broken link) of Clemmons I hope we get lucky, but nothing beats networking. I am a Materials Management Tech at Baptist Hospital due to my USAF experience as a Supply Manager (71st RQS) and my computer database management skills. Thank you for your help.

I am a cuban american from Hialeah, FL who moved to Winston Salem 2 years ago. We live four miles from Clemmons. I think it is a great choice. We love the clemmons area. Taxes are incredibly cheap compared to Miami. I am sooooooooooooo glad we left, I'm sure you will too. My husband and I made the decision to move for the same reasons you listed. We have 2 children, 15 and 10 and did not want them to continue going to school there! Everything here is much cheaper; car insurance, home insurance (big joke), property taxes and general cost of living. We have so much time for our children now, and are much more relaxed! We have no stress here what so ever. I really never thought I would leave Miami since it's all we've ever known and one day we just got so fed up we just needed to get away, start something new and different. So I thought, "it can't be any worse than here (Miami), so how bad can it be!?" I am so glad we did it! You will not regret it! Good luck to you, Yanely & Eddie
