Tanglewood Park for the 4th of July (Greensboro, Clemmons: things to do, county)

After receiving feedback from several people at work, I have decided to stay clear of downtown Greensboro for the 4th. Their website looks Great!

Has anyone been to Tanglewood Park in Clemmons for the 4th. If so, how was it, is it really crowded, do they have a decent firework display.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Tanglewood has always had very nice fireworks. It's a very popular place to see them. It gets very crowded, but it's a huge park. Many people elect to find a place outside of the park to see the fireworks. Enjoy!

Yep, great fireworks. I can stand on my back deck and watch them through the trees!

They often have a concert to coincide with the fireworks, but I don't think they're having music this year according to their web site: Forsyth County > Tanglewood Park (http://www.co.forsyth.nc.us/Tanglewood/?NewsID=2136 - broken link) . The park itself is great though--if you get there early you'll find lots of things to do.
