Saw a "coming soon" type sign for "Newk's" near Costco on Hanes Mall Blvd. I'm new to the area; don't know what the building used to be. They have a couple of locations in Charlotte; looks like this will be the first NC location outside of Charlotte metro area.

Personally, I wouldn't go with a name like "Newk's." First thing I thought of was microwaving food, which I don't exactly associated with fresh, quality food. lol.
From some news articles from last year, they're hoping to open 5 locations in the area.
