Solstas Lab Partners, a medical and diagnostics company with a headquarters in High Point, has picked the city for a 500-job expansion. It already has about 860 full- and part-time employees in High Point, which won the project over Knoxville, Tenn., and Roanoke, Va.

Great news for HP and the Triad..."the largest job-creation project in the city in more than 13 years"
I don't know what the typical cost of incentives is, but sounds like it cost about $3,000 per job from local, county, and state incentives. Anyone know what other companies have gotten? Without researching, this sounds on the low side.
